In the sense of being able to balance them both and keep going. Could be wrong, but it's the second time I've noticed what seems to be his hesitance and possible stress response this season.
speakeasy, I think this is the first time I have ever read something like this. Hank is a character that seems to pretty much fade into the background, other than asking Nick the all important question, "was it a wesen?"
This line of thought is really fascinating to me, especially since it's from the perspective of a human character who's dealt with wesen. Can you elaborate more on what you saw? I haven't seen the episode yet, I'll probably watch it later today or tomorrow. But you can post spoilers. I have no issues with that.
Hi, irukandji! I have always loved the character of Hank because he's so game and jumps into the fray; even against the most dangerous wesen they encounter. And because he comes over as such a nice, sensible and calm guy who is just the kind of partner you'd want; got your back I think they say. But I have worried that he may be the series' original character who is rumored to leave the cast this season. And that may be why I noticed his subtle shift in continence last night and one other time. Think it's okay to talk about last night's episode and what I'm thinking about is the scene where Hank is walking away from Nick and he says something over his shoulder. Something about Nick doing something in a certain way, I believe, but can't remember exactly. Can't wait to see this again because I can't remember so much.
The other time was in this new season also. Hank is in Renard's office. He' about to leave and he pauses and says something about it's hard enough to do this job and it's even harder to know the real truth and not be able to do anything about it. I will try to get more specific and identify the episode. I'm probably reading between the lines because I don't want to see Hank leave.
I need a favor. One of our newer posters, Panther19, wants to know how to start a thread, maybe you can tell how it's done. I've been hanging around here for a long time and haven't ever started my own thread so I don't know how!

Speakeasy, I too liked this episode. Many questions were finally answered: what happened to Nick's mom; Meisner's role; Eve's role; there was an actual case solved like the good old days; more about Black Claw. Glad to see Trubel.
See adds so much to the show. Glad not to have seen Adalind. I think it would be ludicrous for a romance to
develop between her and Nick, baby or no baby. I do have some questions though. Who has Diana? What's going
on with the Royals? And more.
I am somewhat new on this site. Could you help me out by telling me how to start a discussion on a new topic?
Many thanks.

Hi, Panther19, welcome aboard! That was alot of new information to process. I usually watch each episode twice, but this one I may have to do a rewatch followed by a re-rewatch, haha. I just don't want to see any romantic involvement between Nick and Adalind either. I think it's grand that the two of them want to raise their boy together, that's always best, imo. That would mean they would have to get along, but no sweetheart stuff for me.
It's wasn't anything approaching justice for the unspeakable manner in which Kelly was assassinated, but I hope Nick could take some comfort from knowing her comrades-in-arms saw to it that she had a warrior's laying to rest. Seemed to be a place designated for those who fell in battle.
I'm with you about the Royals and Diana, it's making me crazy. Looking forward to posting on your first thread, I don't know how to do it myself, but help's on the way!
