In the current thread about Adalind and the family, Robyn wrote:
I also wanted to bring up an episode in season 5. I am paraphrasing here, so this is not exactly as scripted. Nick was holding Kelly and talking to him the way parents speak to babies. In other words, nonsense babble. Except in this case, it really wasn't nonsense. He was asking Kelly if he could spell the word, "grimm". Adalind came into the scene, and said something along the lines of "I think he's a little young for that".
Adalind commented at her mother's grave that she wanted to raise her children the right way. We also know that she got her hexenbiest spirit back and we know hexenbiests are loyal. We also know that both children eventually became grimms.
It doesn't appear to me that Adalind raised the kids to become grimms because she felt that was the right way to raise her children. Did she raise them to become grimms because of loyalty to Nick?
Quote:And considering that Adalind commented at least twice that she never wanted to be like her mother, becoming human with a law degree should have been her ticket out of the life she had with her mother and Renard. But Adalind's emotions prevented her from making a smart choice that would garner a healthy and prosperous lifestyle. Even when she's supposedly in love and Nick and dedicated to their relationship, she accepts a job with a firm that only wants her if she's a Hexenbiest. Again, sensibility dictates that she would walk away from a firm that wanted to utilize her Hexenbiest skills and go with a firm that doesn't know what she is. But Adalind did exactly opposite of what she should have done if in pursuit of as normal a life as possible.

The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
