It's worse because the head of Nick's mom ended up inside a box.
If there's ever a future episode where Nick has to confront the family of the man he killed at the bar while in zombie-mode, or where Renard has to deal with the grieving relatives of the women he murdered while possessed by Jack, then maybe things will balance out. But right now, Juliette would need to face Nick every day (assuming she comes back), and Kelly's murder would serve as a bitter reminder to Juliette of what happens if she allows her dark impulses to run rampant.
You're right, if Juliette comes back she will have to deal with Nick. But that doesn't make her crime any worse. All it does is shows us she has to face retribution while Nick and Renard continue to handle things in whatever way is going to benefit them.
