This is another reason why I wrote Barrigan's Wake. Sure, the principal characters had "grown" from the pain and suffering, but what about all the collateral damage, such as the innocent neighbors who were slaughtered that same night? G&K were either too busy barreling ahead with new stories to acknowledge that nasty little loose end, or they just didn't care.
