They were all in Nick's mind to motivate and overwhelm the "Z" guy. remember Trubel never saw them, only Nick. Only Nick imagined them. Maybe they did come back but as ghosts in his mind.Diana: Where did they go?
Nick: Who?
Diana: The other Grimms fighting with you.
I’m still not sure why Trubel couldn’t see them. But Diana could.
I’d prefer your version. Particularly as Diana seems to be able to tell that the other two are Grimms but with that strangely working memory of hers doesn’t remember that one of them was her “other mommy”. (“Sometimes I miss my other mommy, too.” -Blind Love) She tells Adalind that she remembers Meisner because he was in the helicopter with her and wanted the King to fly. (Seven Year Itch) And sure, that would be impressive as a memory and she clearly liked him. But Kelly raised her for several months and taught her how to walk and speak -and it seems to call her mommy-. So she remembers Meisner by name (though I can’t imagine him introducing himself to her as Meisner), but doesn’t remember Kelly by sight after she saw her every day for months? When she clearly still remembers her name despite calling her mommy? (“Her name is Kelly, like my brother’s.”, Blind Love)
Quote:That ending would have sucked and reduced the chances of a series come back/renewal possibilities? Please don’t misunderstand... I’m by no means saying “I wished this had been the canon ending”. My favorite character would be dead on the floor with a snake bite on her neck. In a realistic show I would’ve been a little upset by the fairytale ending, but Grimm can get away with that for obvious reasons. It’s just a little what if scenario. I’m much happier thinking that Rosalee has a long (and hopefully happy) life ahead of herself.
Quote:Just a few ideas. Monroe was just too macho? They had to separate him from the rest so he could point out the staff that came trough? His hug ended up on the cutting room floor? But does Monroe strike you as macho? I mean sure, when Rosalee says he’s a softy he says that’s only for her. (Lost Boys) But we do have him complain that Nick only ever talks to him about cases, implying that he feels unhappy/used by that by mid season one. (Organ Grinder) That’s hardly macho behavior, is it? And he gets hugs from Nick, Adalind and Hank (and Rosalee of course) for his birthday. (Blind Love) Sorry. I love Monroe and I don’t find machos very appealing. I get a little defensive.
And Nick could've hugged him earlier, when he hugged Adalind and Eve. (And then the others as they came in.)
The deleted scene missing prior to the group hug is actually Drew requesting something to drink and Rosalee and Monroe walking off to see to that. (In that case I agree that they wanted someone to show us the rod, so it made sense to change that. But it’s a bit odd because Monroe and Rosalee were holding hands since her arrival and then suddenly we don’t see her anymore while we do see him. I care if my favorite character is suddenly gone with no further explanation. So I immediately checked the deleted scenes.)
Quote: IMO, That whole ending scene of Kelly writing in the book was an opportunity for the writers to, "maybe" close up some loop-holes left hanging because the season was shortened from 22 episodes to 13 and ended up creating more.Oh I do hope we’ll get that in a few years from now. (Hopefully with many actors reprising their roles at least occasionally. I do want to hear if Rosalee and Monroe are still alive in the 20 years later scenario. That the triplets are alive doesn’t necessarily tell us that their parents are as well, and I’d want to hear that. Same goes for Hank and Drew. Oh and Trubel of course.) I was just fascinated with all the times Kelly gets put somewhere in his safety seat and then people basically go about whatever else they’re up to. It’s probably nicer on the babies/toddlers playing the kid if they don’t have to constantly be in one of the actors’ arms. Makes it easier to only leave them in for short periods of time. But I would’ve thought that a mother like Adalind wouldn’t want to leave Kelly out of her sight after what happened with Diana. Different can of worms.
Quote:For me, that whole "Z" guy arc was not too impressive either. I chalk it off to, 13 episodes instead of 22 episode, contributing to the, sort of abrupt ending.Probably true. On the other hand... Firefly had a total of 13 episodes (and a prequel movie and a sequel movie) and most fans (and actors) desperately wanted that show back.
Quote:To me, that last stick part of the staff was the final ingredient that preferred the staff to be wielded by good (Grimm) over evil ("Z" guy, the ayatollah of Wesen) and once it was fully reassembled it backfired on "Z" and "evil".Interesting theory. But if it wanted to stay with Nick, why did it stop helping him heal his loved ones? (Just curios. I’ve only watched the episode once so far, and quite recently. So my thoughts haven’t settled on it at all yet.)
Quote:Now, for this statement, I will probably get some criticism since some wacko-dodos see most Wesen as "good-guys victims" instead of evil predators. In that last sentence, did i mention 'most Wesen' not all of them!I’d say it entirely depends on the Wesen in question and the circumstances. There’s no true-for-all simple theory on that one. There are times where I disagree with Nick and his allies. But feeling sorry for every single Wesen is a bit much. They’re basically like people. They can be good, neutral or evil, and they can change and adapt.
