You should check her out in the movie "Bring it on Again 2004" This "Monroe surname" doesn't make sense to me either but then you have to ask yourself this. If he is a reformed Wesen Blutbad and he has mastered his control of the urges to hunt, why advertise your Wesen species to the Wesen World? By having that stained glass on his door, he isn't just saying it to the Wesen World but also the the rest of the non Wesen public. True, the rest of the non Wesen might not know what it stands for, but why be so obvious?
Like I said, I not sure if that scene happened but I must have gotten the idea from something similar and interpreted it the wrong way. I refuse to insist when I am not sure of something but curious on why he would place that stained glass on his door and leave it there if he is trying to suppress his family trait.
I'll have to keep a look out for that, then, thanks.
Yes, it is a complicated topic. But hey, I love finding references here and there and everywhere and trying to make sense of them.
What we definitely get from Monroe at least early on though is him marking his territory. (Which Rosalee seems to find both amusing and delightful when Nick mentions it in Blind Love, but we obviously already knew that he did since good old Pilot days.) So I don't think him advertising being a Blutbad is related to his urge to hunt. And whether or not the stained glass window scene exists or not, he definitely has that Blutbad corkscrew and the "Blutbaden" platter. But the man's a vegetarian (mentioned on various occasions, but let's take Rosalee mentioning it in Good Soldier when she tells him she needs to tell her mom he's vegetarian) so he doesn't get tempted to hunt. But he woges and goes for the jugular when he kills enemies (e.g. The Tribunal, because in that one we also see Rosalee do that, because you don't mess with her husband). I think he's both proud and scared of his heritage. Just like he seems to value some traditions and not others. One of the reasons I like Monroe so much is that you can't always tell where you're at. (And I should stop here, seeing as this is an episode thread and not a character one.)
