Y'all keep going back and talking about the "biest" within ... perhaps this was all a plan in motion through the Gypsy to "help/offer help" to Adalind in desperation while Conrad mourned ... what? The loss of his daughter, his wife, his lover? Her biest within? Is the accelerated growth to be so she can then take her rightful place alongside Conrad as an equal or predecessor?
Or could even Henrietta's biest show back up? There are so many variables. So many chess pieces.
I also think back to someone who just wrote (Robyn) maybe? not sure that what happens if/when it becomes apparent that MAYBE Renard only views his daughter as a pawn or stepping stone to power himself and that he doesn't really feel "love" towards her (I'm not sure that is fully right but would he sacrifice himself for her life the way that perhaps Adalind would as her mother?) - take the bedroom scene where they tuck Diana in. Renard seems cold. Good night. Doesn't reach down to kiss her goodnight or anything. Adalind does.
Also, regarding the Adalind beside Diana - we don't know what or who they are looking at. We assume it is Rachel. What if it is Kelly? What if she's bouncing him in the air again LOL four more days!
The way Diana malnipulates ..I would not be a bit surprise if she is controlling dear ol dad emotions/thought patterns, she seems to have him wrap around her fingers ...obviously they bonded or she bonded to Renard...to kill Rachel
and if you seen last week eppy both of them kiss Diana and Diana had the same none facial expressive recognition to both kisses on the forehead both said I love you ..and Diana did not show favoritism to either. Then when they closed the door she had them holding hands
