I have been a critic of the Juliette character for years. This is not because I have anything against Bitsie Tulloch. I'm sure she's a nice person.
But, the character of Juliette/Eve has never been anything but a distraction at best. Sometimes she was a help to Nick and the crew, sometimes she was little better than a millstone on Nick's back, and sometimes she was a murderous slut!
Whether all this was a result of poor acting, poor writing or a combination of both, I don't know and I don't care!
To me what was most frustrating about the character was the occasional glimpses of a fine performance and a real chance to become part of the story. In certain episodes like: "Game Ogre", "The Thing with Feathers", "La Llorona" and a few others; I thought to myself "Aha, at last she's onboard with the gig and Nick will be able to count on her as part of the crew!"
Then **poof** gone, and we're back to the whiny, needy b%^ch who won't even give him a straight answer on his multiple proposals of marriage!
I was really disappointed when they brought her back from the dead. The story line would have been so much more interesting if Nick had the chance to develop another love interest (NOT Adalind!) during this season.
I still find this whole thing between Nick and Adalind to be more than a little creepy. Truble should just take both the sluts out and that's the end of it! I'm sure Nick can handle being a single father with a little help from Aunt Truble and Aunt Rosalee.
(And for those of you about to ask: Can Truble take them both? Hell yes! Girl's bad to the bone! )
