Wouldn't be too hard of a stretch to work into the series. I mean, Marie was like, "Oh, by the way, your a Grimm" and then dies. Kelly was like, " Marie told you? Yeah, sorry your a Grimm." then takes off in hiding with Diana. So, Nick knows he's a Grimm but nothing about their history, traditions or even proper training to develop his Grimm powers. He's been learning as he goes along.
But, as far as we know, Grimm's live a pretty nomadic lifestyle. Always traveling around and hunting wessen. So, it would be hard for them to organize.
What also would be cool to see is a older and more experienced Grimm blow into town and discovers Nick. He or she finds out that Nick has never been properly trained and starts to train him and shows him his true potential.
I like your points and agree, but would ask, do you think they made Nick this way so he can be a different kind of Grimm learning from Monroe and Rosalee? Like the Grimm council idea.
