I really liked this episode. Sort of sympathized with the Golem as a misunderstood monster, kinda like Frankenstein. Sure, he killed by way of protecting David. But hey, glass half full, mud baths can be beneficial to the skin. And when the second mud brother stepped out of his truck I was thinking - 'Do the words "run like hell" mean anything to you?' - but maybe that stuff locks you in place.
So David killed the Golem and that was a good thing because he conquered some of his fear is doing so, but think he's still going to need years of therapy. However, Trubel was very understanding of his trauma and did a good turn in empathizing with his awful experiences with his stepdad. (What was that thing anyhow, it was so ugly.) She's turning out to be a good scout.
Agree that was a wesen variation of the LSD loaded brownie that Adalind ate; don'tcha just hate it when that happens? Bad trip, unless you like small spaces.
Meanwhile, back at the spice shop, when Elizabeth said "I'm not done yet" and woged into that god-awful face, now that was scary. She's much more terrible looking than the other three and that's saying something.
And intolerance is raising its ugly head again, it's going to be interesting how Monroe and Rosalee handle this situation. Hope they can keep the violence from escalating.
I know that there is a large element of fans who think Adalind is not very good at her craft, or gullible or something. But I've been feeling for a long time that she is steadily growing in her powers. She's created quite a few spells and potions thus far, and they've all have been pretty stunning. She's not grown-up in her decisions, though, and reacts in a knee-jerk way; that's what gets her in trouble. But she's only 24, just a few years older that Trubel, and that'll change with time. Both Rosalee and Elizabeth recognize that this latest is a very sophisticated spell and Elizabeth seemed very impressed at Adalind's ability to cast it.
We can once again say "Captain's on the bridge", which is music to my ears and candy to my eyes.
Seems like with just a few exceptions, they're all room numbers.
