If you notice, neither DG or JK is giving *their* impression. They're leaving it up to the interviewer. In other words, they are being ambiguous.
BTW, here's the definition of ambiguous:
//unclear or inexact because a choice between alternatives has not been made//
They said yes that’s Fair, fair on its own isn’t ambiguous at all the writers made it claer when they said that’s fair if they wanted it to reasonable they would have said fair enough.
This matches what the writers said.
Cambridge definition
it's fair to say
it is true to say:
I think it's fair to say (that) you've done
This from Cambridge matches what you said much more see the difference
Fair enough
fair enough
something you say to show that you understand why someone has done or said something: or something you think reasonable
Why didn’t they correct this interviewer and tell her she was making an assumption when she said the mom and Dad were Nick and Adalind, surely if they wanted it left open they would have corrected her.
TVLINE | But as we see in the flashforward, we see that Diana and Kelly are carrying on the Grimm work, and they mention that Adalind and Nick — as well as the triplets — are involved. What can you tell me about how everyone else ended up?
KOUF | They’re all just one big, happy family, fighting evil together.
GREENWALT |They’re all fighting the good fight, in one way or the other. Trubel’s definitely out there. She’s “have sword, will travel” for sure.
They clearly didn’t want to leave it up to the audience beacuse if the did they would have simply told the interviewer it’s up to the audience to decide thus total aumbuity, but they didn’t they answered a straight question if it’s fair to say Nick and Adalind are still together with a yes that’s fair, end of debate I’m done here
This isn’t about G&k they made it claer Nick and Adalind are still togther it’s about your unwillingness to except anything you don’t like, you’ve even questioned set in the stone show canon in the past like kellys paternity even though show never questioned it once, you have a clear agenda here.
