S4 is the last time she shows him any consideration of sorts and it's only for Diana. He continued to show himself not deserving of anything remotely good from her when he refused to help her and worse, sent a furious Juliette after her. By S5, she has open disdain for him and it's for Diana (yet again) in S6 that they apologize to one another and truly set aside any animosity, not for any feelings she used to have for him years ago but because it's best for Diana.(12-02-2017, 11:29 AM)rpmaluki Wrote:(12-02-2017, 11:14 AM)irukandji Wrote:Adalind's softer feelings towards Renard died when he told her he handed Diana to Viktor. I believe yes she did love Renard in season 1 even though she never addmitted it out load like she did with Nick I believe she loved Renard in season 1. He was the one that played her like an idiot in season 1 she didn’t play him at all. Yes in season 2 and 3 she did play Renard but she was getting her revenge for his rejection.
So what you're saying is that Renard's love meant something to her. Why then wouldn't you question her mental state at going to Nick then? Kenneth booted her out, Juliette's after her, she loved Renard enough to get revenge on him, she had no where to go, and she's almost nine month's pregnant. Does going to the enemy of a man she once loved really speak of a calm and objective mind? It doesn't to me.
Henry pointed out in his post that she got revenge on Renard in seasons 2 and 3. If this is correct, then she was carrying the torch for Renard for a long while.
But that aside, she would be a hypocrite if her love for Renard died simply because he told her he handed Diana over to Viktor. After all, Adalind's own actions are the ones that brought Diana to the Royals' attention in the first place.
Correction: S4 is the second last time she shows him any consideration, it's in the cabin of S6, the last time we see on screen her apologising for her part in their tumultuous history.
Maybe someone can start a general discussion thread about all things Grimm related since all these threads seem to diverge a lot from the actual topic of discussion.
