Adalind should have been saavy enough to know she'd never easily get her child back.I think she should have gone, because she should have done whatever was necessary to protect and remove her daughter from such a dangerous group. But then, I think she should have had that same urgency when believing the Royals had Diana.
Of course, I think she should have had qualms over falling in love with one of the kidnappers and livid when learning Meisner had Diana all along. He might have refused to hand her over, but at least Adalind would have known Diana was safe from the Royals.
Henry, I know we clarified you weren’t responding to me. But. I agree with irukandji on this. Adalind has more often than not been her worst enemy, causing more problems for herself when trying to get out of a current predicament. But Adalind has never been helpless, she was always on her own when in a jam, and through luck and tenacity managed to survive.
While Adalind was helpless to stop Kelly from taking Diana, she immediately sprung into action. She was willing to return to Viktor knowing he might kill her, and had sex with one of the kidnappers because she believed it would result in getting to live with Diana at the castle. Adalind told Kelly they’d have to kill her before taking Diana. Renard told Kelly that Adalind would never willingly give up Diana. That’s not a helpless woman who can’t do anything on her own. But that is how G & K characterized her while with Nick - sleep with me because I’m afraid of things that go bump in the night.
