Great question Loona, but that couldn't be answered. The writers say it's Adalind but as you already have notice too, the writers love to tease us.
That's all it was. A theory on the internet.
That question was answered, not that it was a question in the first place. Kelly's mother is definitely Adalind and the writers never teased us about it.

IMO I think is it much more believable that Juliette wanted to have children with Nick the not-Grimm.
Never mind Mary. Just drop it. You're not getting my point.

That isn't the main problem at all. The main problem is those who believe everthing has been completely and adequately explained feel others shouldn't question it. I don't get it because I have read posts from those same people who continue to state that "everyone views things differently".
If that's the case, then there shouldn't be any criticisms of anyone. I don't believe the show completely and adequately explained everything to everyone's satisfaction and no one should question the show. I get what the posters are saying. I think they have a right to question it without being told they shouldn't.
I can understand Diana's paternity being in question because that was a question on the show itself. They decided for her to be Sean's and I think that was the plan all along but they did open the door for some doubt.
On the other hand, Kelly's paternity was never questioned. I can argue that it should've been and stated as such but it never was on the show. Nick not being the father was never considered by the writers because they told us Adalind hadn't slept with anyone else and didn't backtrack.
There are definitely things the show didn't explain adequately. The origin of Grimms and Wesen come to mind and their bungling of the keys is obvious for everyone to see.
However, Nick and Adalind being together for 20 years isn't ambiguous. It's been established that they love each other and there wasn't anything indicating they broke up.
The show wasn't very well-written. I'm all for criticizing the writing especially when it comes to how relationships were written.
My statement about things being taken personally was spurred mainly by the recent shipping debates. People who talk about what happened in Nick and Adalind's relationship and her not being a consolation prize because he couldn't have Juliette are labeled as Nadalinds. It's like things can only be seen this way if someone's a Nick/Adalind shipper. You haven't done this nor do I expect you ever would but this has become a more recent occurrence. The debates often become shipping arguments.
