If anything, they probably should have held back the bits they salted throughout the first 11 episodes and used them to make a faster-paced two or three episode finale. They could have used the B plots for the WotW episodes to give Sean and Nick a chance to reconcile and go kill Viktor or something instead.
Why do you feel like this? Personally I disagree. They could have did so much more. The royal plot line pretty much died once Eric died. Renard killing Victor wouldn't make him crowned prince. Victor isn't after Diana nor the keys. There would be no reason for them to go after Victor.
Sean and Nick don't need to reconcile. There would be no real plot point in doing that.

Trubel felt Nick like something really bad was happening or going to happen to him, that's why she rushed to Portland. It could mean that Trubel may very well be related to Nick by blood. After all G&K hinted Trubel's heritage will brought up at the end.
so now Z has his choice of 3 Grimms: Nick, Trubel, and Kelly (at least Diana's dream seems to indicate that Z wants Kelly too).
ohhh yes, and he will need a Grimm I think to cross over back to his world. Maybe thats why he does not want to kill Nick, instead toying with him or thats why he marked Baby Kelly, maybe Z noticed baby Kelly is a Grimm and wants to use him to cross over.
I think the dude would simply need to the Stick. The Zerstorer was already able to cross certain body part through the mirror before Nick even went in. Once the Staff is complete he could easily cross between realms.
Also Truble came back for the Stick not Nick. She was planning on stealing the stick which is why she didn't enter to tunnel from the Fome but rather the outside entrance.

I think after six years of fighting supernatural beasties, Hank and Wu would have had a better sense of strategy than just charging at the Zerstorer as if that would actually work.
All Hank and Wu ever do when they have to fight a Wesen head on is Shot or punch. I didn't see them handle this Wesen any different than they have handled any wesen in the past. They only had 3 options:
1. Run
2. Shot it
3. Fight it in Close Quarter combat.
2 & 3 failed because the Zerstorer is bullet proof and simply have better reaction speed than Hank and Wu.
