Renard may have decided not to reach out to Meisner because he believed Meisner would simply relocate Diana and still refuse to let him see her. Adalind may have not reached out to Meisner for the same reason. Once Adalind knew Meisner had Diana but chose not to tell her, she may have decided she had a better chance of getting Diana from BC than from Meisner.
The whole keeping Diana out of the wrong hands has been one giant fiasco after another. Every attempt to ‘protect the special child’ has resulted in making things worse, and the players refuse to acknowledge their responsibility in creating the mess.
