Thanks for your reply. My question was simply, who is more corrupt, Nick or Sean?
You hammer Nick for his Grimm activity, but are silent about Sean's corruption.
Hi New Guy-
Your question was not simply who is the more corrupt, Nick or Sean.
This was your question:
"Iruk, do you really believe Nick is more corrupt?"
My answer was, "Indeed I do" and I explained why I felt Nick was the more corrupt.
I'm not certain what you'd like me to say. I answered your original question, now you're changing it. If you're looking for more, maybe you could elaborate?
My question had two parts:
1. do you really believe Nick is more corrupt?
2. When did Nick provide criminal Wesen to a fight club to die for public entertainment?
The first question was unnecessary by itself, but leads to the second.
IMO, Nick has never engaged in criminal activity to sell the lives of arrested Wesen to sell to a fight club to be killed and eaten, for personal financial gain. I see nothing in your reply to the second part of my question. So do you agree Nick never engaged in such a heinous activity? If he did, provide specifics.
Do you recall in 5.10 how Dixon did not want to smear his opponent?
Quote:He [Dixon] met with Jeremiah Rogers, Rachel Wood, and Renard in Renard's office to discuss the current state of his campaign. Jeremiah commented that the polls had the election as a toss up, and Rachel thought it was because Gallagher, Andrew's opponent, wasn't taking the high road as they had. Andrew didn't want to change their tactics and get elected due to being the candidate that was hated the least, but Jeremiah thought there wasn't anything wrong with pointing out some flaws in the opponent. Renard then suggested they make bacon out of the "pig," Gallagher, using previously covered-up information about his youthful indiscretions, drug charges, gambling debts, and association with known mob members. Andrew still didn't like the idea of using that information against Gallagher, but Rachel said that people needed to know who they were voting for and implied that the information could be leaked to the press without the general population knowing it came from them.It was Renard that pulled the confidential files and passed them to Rachel. That was a significant breach as precinct captain. He did that believing he would gain power after Dixon got elected.
So here is a third question. When did Nick ever breach his detective duty to gain more "political" power? If he did, provide specifics.
Both Renard and Nick have operated outside police procedural rules, but only Renard has corruptly used his position as police captain for personal financial gain and personal rise in political power.
