It is also part of the story line and has taken affect and shaped everyones life even leading to the main plot. It would be selfish for the creators to simply scratch this part away knowing fans also invested thier time watching closely on the relationship area and how it has affected the characters right and wrong descisions that has led them to this point presently. Why throw it all away within 13 seasons.
Are you speaking of Nick and Juliette or Nick and Adalind? I ask because I don't recall either woman definitively shaping Nick at all and he wasn't with either one for 5 years.
I've always seen the main arc of the story as being about the wesen of the week.
I've never considered Nick's relationship with Juliette a major component of the story. As for Nick and Adalind, I never really knew what they were supposed to be to begin with. Whatever they were playing at was even less important to me than Nick and Juliette.
So I continue to wonder why it's so important that Nick have a relationship.

I don't know who Chuck and Sarah are and what is the good bye stunt?
I speak of all three, Nick, Adalind and Juliette. With regards to the word "shaping relationship wise", there surely was in all 5S's. Every action all 3 characters did or created amongst or with themselves within thier relationship area, Friends, Enemies or Lovers within/with all 3 parties, shaped thier lives.
Maybe you meant to express shaping their relationships differently? This was how I meant to express mine in the above.
On Chuck and Sarah - It is a TV show. To understand, will have to watch it. But never mind.
