Where in the Oregon laws of ownership or arson can you show she had any right to torch it? Her arson of Nick's trailer is a felony. Too bad she didn't burn up in the fire. There is no good in her, only hatred, violence, destruction and murder. She threw all her "rights" in the dumper when she planned and committed the crime. She is a guilty felon and should be captured, charged, tried and convicted of all her crimes. We can only hope Nick will be up to the task.

Hi New Guy-
Nick has many faults, but one thing I will say about him is that I see him as the kind of guy who believes who believes in comingling possessions. In other words, things are not singled down to his possessions or Juliette's possessions. Instead, they are "their" possessions. Juliette's name may have been added as an owner to the Airstream right along with Nick's name. It would make sense since he had no family and she really didn't either. It also makes a very logical decision since Nick has chosen to be a Grimm and remain a cop. Adding a Grimm to his cop profession has mo doubt he's tripled or even quadrupled his chances of an early death.
It's been said that the land the trailer was parked on belonged to Juliette. She must have considered it Nick's land as well, or she wouldn't have allowed the trailer on it. Is it arson or a felony if Juliette destroys an old trailer and its contents on land that's considered hers and Nick's? I don't see how it could be. I'm not saying it's an appropriate action by any means. She's probably violating a dozen air pollution laws, but that's about the extent of it.

Lacking that your comment about Juliette owning the land is false. It turned out Nick owned the house and likely owned or had legal right to the use of the land. That makes Hexenette guilty of arson. She would be guilty even if she owned the land.
If I allowed you to park your precious AirStream trailer on my property, then decided I was angry that you wouldn't let me kill your unborn child and burned your trailer would you say I had a right to burn it? No way!
New Guy
Hi New Guy-
I did not say she owned the land. Someone wrote it here in the forum. I'm not going to waste time looking it up. You're good at searches, maybe you can find it. That said, I can see that logic.
Why would Nick park it on someone's private land and risk the trailer being taken away from him? If he parked it on public land, that would be worse. He'd risk having it taken away from him, or having it vandalized by either humans or animals. The only thing that does make sense in this case is that it was parked somewhere that was owned by him or owned by Juliette.
He gave her access to it and it's likely he considered his things her things and vice versa. It's not arson to torch belongings on your own property. Out on acreages, people do burn things on their property. I'm not saying it's an appropriate thing to do. However, if she considered it hers, like a car or a set of books, why couldn't she burn it?
BTW, Nick's "house" was originally Juliette's "house". Juliette told Nick later something to the effect of, "It's your house too". I am paraphrasing here.
Is what Juliette did considered arson? Based on what court decision? Was it a felony? Who arrested her and charged her with it?
