The “Grimm” Season 5 recently concluded its finale titled “The Beginning of the End.” It showed some light moments as well as some action-packed moments in the 2-hour finale. Recently, the lead character from “Grimm” actor David Giuntoli, who plays Nick, spilled the beans on what can be expected from his character and if Black Claw is coming back or not.
According to Entertainment Weekly, David Giuntoli was asked, “can we expect to see Black Claw rolling over into the next season?” To which he replied, “Oh, that group is so done. They’re not gonna come for me again; I killed like 30 people that tried to get me. Now it’s Renard versus Nick. I think.”
From this it is clear that in Season 6, Black Claw is not going to return and perhaps a new villain will come up. Or fans may also see a new fight arising between Nick and Sean Renard in the next season of “Grimm.”
David Giuntoli was also asked about his role in the upcoming Season 6. He said, “I kind of hope we have some time to steep in our main characters and focus a little less on Black Claw and stuff like the exterior, evil groups.” He also added, “The writers brilliantly set up this scenario where Nick’s now happily with Adalind and they have a kid. And what in the world, how do we explore that? I don’t think it’s something that should just be glossed over.”
He also revealed the details on the relationship between Monroe and Rosalee. He said, “You know, Monroe and Rosalee are having a kid. That is a beautiful moment. I think it’s wonderful. Two different wesen together, kind of getting over their differences. And I think there is time to explore all of that.”
According to TV Line spoilers, David Giuntoli who plays Nick in the series “Grimm” is expanding his role on the show. The actor tells Kim Roots that he will step behind the camera to direct his first episode — Season 6’s third installment. “They’re moving it up to the first [to be shot], so I have time to prep it,” he tells TVLine, adding that during his time on the show, “I’ve been so compelled by what is going on behind the scenes. I know the show as well as anyone else.”
“Grimm” is renewed for Season 6 on NBC. The premiere date of “Grimm” Season 6 is not yet officially announced.

Love the idea of Renard being the S6 big bad, no more hiding behind manipulations and fake friendships.
But this: He also added, “The writers brilliantly set up this scenario where Nick’s now happily with Adalind and they have a kid. And what in the world, how do we explore that? I don’t think it’s something that should just be glossed over.”
At the end of S5 Nick still did not trust Adalind. I can accept that you can love a former enemy and love someone you don’t completely trust. The heart is a fickle beast. But. I don’t understand how you can happily be with someone you don’t trust. That would tend to end any thoughts/plans for the future with a question mark.
Anyone think that Nick’s S6 angst will be realizing he’s in love with Adalind but the ring/spell & Renard stand in his way? Anyone think that’s a good idea?
Or maybe Nick’s happier with Adalind than he ever expected, but still loves Juliette?
