I'm pretty sure they are going to do everything they can to get Nick on board.
Why would Nick want to have anything to do with a group that kidnapped and beat the everloving crap out of Trubel for reasons they can't be bothered to divulge?
I was thinking Trubel took on the Rat King an lost.
When I watched the episode I viewed it as another example of the wesen's that normally get picked on, fighting back. It surprised me that Nick sided with the Klaustreich over the Reinigen, even though the Reinigen where only defending themselvs. These are the same wesen that are part of the uprising. The move is for those wesen that have always been victims to fight back. The twist is the movement is being corrupted by the powers that be for political gain.
One thing I wonder was how was Hank going to explain all those dead if they were dead and not just KO'd. Wu was alway the better at explaining those things.
I don't think Meisner would have had her involved with the rat king doubt he even knew about that. As alway I could be wrong but this time I think will find out Friday that the battle Trubel had was with the group.
I thought part of the reason Nick sided with the Klaustreich was because of the whole cop ethic being against vigilantism, but another part of it was that I'm not sure he or hank ever realized the Klaustreich's had actually killed the "Rat Prince".
Maybe I missed some vital exchange, but I never saw anything where Nick, Hank, Monroe or Rosalee were made aware of the fact that the reinagand bashing had gotten out of hand and led to murder.
Like many of the commenters here, I also wondered how they were going to resolve the aftermath. To me the reinagands looked like they were only stunned, but still...
Who would they charge with murder and how would they prove it?
Plus, it was still self-defense.
Heck, if it was Florida, not Oregon, the reinegands probably wouldn't even see the inside of a courtroom.
The whole case seemed rushed and forced because so much else was going on. It would have been easier to enjoy if it was explored in an episode where more time was dedicated to that plot, just as the Meisner/Trubel plot would have been better if it was not cut short by that investigation.
Maybe the writers feel like they have to pack as much as possible into each episode, but I'd like more in-depth storytelling where they focus either on Nick's personal life and Grimmhood in one episode, then focus more on an investigation in another.
