Well I certainly hope I did not paint Renard as honorable. Sheathing your sword in your buddy's personal scabbard is never an honorable action, it may be understandable, but not commendable. But there are various forms of honor and it tends to be defined by the individual, for example, as you outlined.
I must say, I do hope he confesses to Nick and ask for his forgiveness also.

Thanks for the reply. We seem to agree that Renard has been dishonorable, owes Nick a confession and should beg his forgiveness. Humility does not seem to be one of Renard’s traits. He also lacks the leadership traits of empathy, accountability and honesty. I don’t see Renard becoming contrite and giving Nick proper respect.
As things stand, Renard is the number one offender toward the lead character of Grimm, Nick Burkhardt. So when the season 5 revenge begins there will be payback.
