Even the show Supernatural had a few episodes (I don't know about post-season 7 episodes, because I stopped watching in that season) that actually did not deal with the supernatural (ironically).
An example being the brothers coming across a family practicing cannibalism who captured people, then hunted them, and ate them.

So if a show which revolved around 2 hunters encountering supernatural creatures in almost every episode, once in a while (wiki says twice) focused on only human threats, then a show that mainly revolves around a grimm fighting wesen monsters, can take a break sometime with that format, and focus on the threat of humanity.
