Today in the "sports" part of Germany's biggest Newspaper, "Bild", tabloid press
I tried to translate it:

The off-the-wall 34-hour-trip of the Bayern- Worldchampions
For a tryout, Schweini [Schweinsteiger-nickname] and co. fly to the USA for a bit.
Schweinsteiger(29) and the other World Cup heroes of the Bayern are yet enjoying their holidays. They should refuel a decent amount of power! Because the first working day is going to be extra-tough!
The off-the-wall 34 hour trip of the Bayern- Worldchampions. Today, the Munich players leave for their one-week USA-trip. The new office in New York is going to be opened up, and a test against Guadalajara (in the night to Friday) and an All-star-team of the North American MLS (August 7th, 3:55 AM German time live on Sat.1 channel) is waiting.
The German world champions Schweinsteiger, Lahm, Müller, Neuer, Götze, Boateng and the semi-final players Robben (Netherlands) and Dante (Brazil) don’t have to travel with them today, they have extra-holidays. But they have to participate in the match against the MLS-choice – and it’s going to be hard!
Wednesday, 6th of August, their flight leaves at 10AM in Munich heading USA. With 9 hours of time difference they play the Allstars on the same day. And fly directly afterwards back to Munich, to land there on Thursday at about 8PM. Only Boateng is lucky: He’s spending his holidays in the USA and can arrive directly.
A real hard slog. There’s not even an overnight stay in Portland. Bayern manager Jörg Wacker: “We decided this months ago in the managing-committee, though we did know it could be less then optimal.”
But all the stars should be present, to push the Bayern on the mega-market America with their 50 million soccer fans.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to watch the match. I really want to, but 4 o'clock in the morning?
