Juliette is another proof that even intelligent people can behave stupidly.

Juliette had already made up her mind about them being doomed. Unlike Nick who didn't take Marie's advice about breaking up with her, Juliette took what Henrietta said to heart and let that guide her towards her breakup with Nick. I don't think any less of Juliette for breaking up with Nick. Anyone is welcome to end a relationship for any reason they deem fit. Nobody should feel obligated to stay in a relationship they feel is doomed. It's much better than continuing a relationship that's only going to get more sour as it goes along. That being said, the relationship was over even if that was the decisive moment. Juliette wanted Nick to react exactly how she wanted immediately. No relationship will survive an ultimatum like that, at least not healthy ones. That is such an unreasonable attitude to have and no partner should be expected to put with it. It actually furthers my position on Juliette already ending the relationship because she didn't want to be proven wrong. That's why she immediately walked out. I think Juliette would've done the same had Nick kissed her corpse-looking face reluctantly.

Nick did well to stay away from her, in not following it. If she wanted something should use good manners with Nick.
It would be a Wesen but she had a prejudiced mind. Is the most annoying and stupid in Juliette saying: " Nobody understands me because Im Hexenbiest". But she did not understand the others, if she thought that for them there was only one color. If Juliette does not talk about " her problem", its not their fault- neither Nick nor group-.

In the decisive moment?Hi Tara, I believe the scene you call "the decisive moment" from 4.14, "Bad Luck." Quote:Scene: Nick arrives home. IMO Hexenette's behavior and demands were unreasonable and disgusting. Nick's reaction was completely normal. Only a pervert (like Renard) would want to kiss a rotting corpse. Ugh! A normal, sane and compassionate person would never have treated the one closest to them in such a foul way. If she ever truly loved Nick she would not have woged when he said "You learned to understand me, now I have to learn how to understand you. . . . I'm not going anywhere." She would have kissed him and done all she could to prove her love for him. Hexenette chose to pursue hatred, violence, vulgarity, betrayal and murder. Even though Nick still loved her, she became so ghastly and dangerous that Nick said to "kill her." Many of us would agree with this article: http://www.tvguide.com/news/grimm-season-5-premiere/ Ding Dong Indeed! Best, N G

In the decisive moment?Hi Tara, Hi This scene Scene: Nick takes his gun out and points it at Juliette after seeing her woge. Nick: You're not Juliette. You're Adalind. What did you do with her? Juliette: [She retracts] Nick, it's me. Nick: I don't believe you. Juliette: Listen, you... you proposed to me on this couch. You had a ring. I said no. You hid it upstairs in the dresser drawer. I found it. Adalind would never know that. Nick: [He lowers his gun] How did this happen? Juliette: I don't know. I didn't know what was happening at first. I was really nauseous. I thought I was pregnant. I had headaches. And then it just happened. And it's been happening more and more. It's how I killed the guy from the tribunal. [Flashback of the back of Jonah Riken's head exploding in "Tribunal"] And the Manticore. [Flashback of Juliette killing Jonathon Wilde in "Maréchaussée"] And how I almost just killed Adalind. Nick: Why didn't you tell me? Juliette: Because I was scared. Nick: [He puts his gun away] Look... we're gonna figure this out, and get rid of it. Juliette: We can't. Nick: Why not? Juliette: It's permanent. Nick: You don't know that. Juliette: I do. Henrietta told me. Nick: Who's Henrietta? Juliette: The Hexenbiest who's been helping me figure this out. Nick: You've been seeing a Hexenbiest? Juliette: I had to. I didn't want to hurt you. Nick: Well, how did you find Henrietta? Juliette: Sean Renard. Nick: You told him before you told me? Juliette: I needed help, Nick. His mom's a Hexenbiest. He's half Zauberbiest. Nick: You should have told me. Juliette: [Crying] I was afraid you were gonna kill me. Nick: Juliette, I would never hurt you. Never. This is all because of me. This is... because I became a Grimm again. Juliette: Well, we took a chance, you know? We knew that there might be side effects. It's what we wanted. Nick: Juliette, I am so sorry. [He opens the front door] Juliette: Nick, where are you going? Nick: I don't know. [He leaves]
All the way Nickliette for ever
Do you know what I think is strange on Nick's part? He pulls a gun on Juliette (when she woges into Adalind). But when Adalind waddles into the precinct, he does nothing?
In our society, just because a woman's pregnant, it doesn't mean she's suddenly rendered incapable of being dangerous. This is a witch with a history of crimes to her credit. Yet he does nothing because she's pregnant. all Adalind would have to do is sniff the hat again and become someone else. She could easily stir up her usual round of trouble unpregnant and then return to her pregnant state and no one is the wiser. Nick really is a doofus.

That Juliette revealed to be " Hexenbiest" was something strange for Nick and absurd.
He thought it was Adalind. Nick has no killer instinct to target Adalind pregnant. If he had done it, surely many would be bothered by that scene. If I see that Juliette had instinct to kill. |
