RE: Why Nick and Adalind clicked - Robyn - 12-31-2017

I do. Not because the show evolved their arrangement into a committed relationship through a series of conversations, realizations, and shared needs/wants, but because the show put them together as a couple in S6 that wasn’t questioned by their own actions or the other characters’ reactions.

It’s like I said before - with Grimm what you see is what you get, take it at face value because there aren’t any layers to peel back. If Nick acted like he & Adalind were a couple and no one was surprised that Nick & Adalind were suddenly a couple, then Nick & Adalind are a couple. And once Nick stopped pretending in front of his friends, he and Adalind did behave like a couple. I didn’t get the impression that he was holding off in case Juliette wanted him back, but rather, guilt over him and Adalind accomplishing what he and Juliette couldn’t.

Plus, an ego that had trouble comprehending Juliette could be happy without him. *grin*
