I like that Monroe and Rosalee are reasonable adults who are written as reasonable adults. It's refreshing in an era of love triangles and drummed-up relationship drama. If I wanted that, I could crack open the Twilight "Saga" for a read or something.

Plus, we already did get some of that with the Juliette-Renard-Nick magic love potion amnesia thing.

I think it was a nice present to the fans. Nick already has Juliette and we all like Monroe so much. So why not have him get together with Rosalee.

exactly, why can't a couple just have a nice, normal, boring relationship! why does there always have to be drama, we have juliette thinking nick is having an affair with his mother!Confused we don't need more dramaAngel

Boring a segment of the fan population (i.e., me) is not a nice present. Every segment of fandom has a group who wants their favorite characters to ship/marry/date whatever.

Just because Internet forums are overrepresented by "shippers" or anti-shippers (i.e., those people who want characters to break up, like the Juliette haters) doesn't mean it's good for the show. But more importantly, it is not good for HellJacket's personal entertainment. The scenes were boring and simply used to give Monroe and Rosalee screentime in an episode where the plot was primarily concerned with Nick doing his job. Grimm is developing into a story trainwreck like True Blood became with a bunch of totally unrelated plot lines. Luckily, it has a ways to go before it reaches that mess.
