Must have missed something about having the youngsters and their dads hunt down a rabbit and eat it and Monroe's lecture about the importance of resisting the urge to hunt. It wasn't one of my favorite wesen of the week stories, just okay.

Wave goodbye to the trailer, and there goes the chance to see what was in that Grimm diary page hidden in the chest (I had always figured it was critical to understanding the mystery of the much sought after object) and the Coins of Zakynthos, although I guess they could be salvaged. All the Grimm diaries and wesen lore accumulated over the generations, which the gang depended on in their research, all gone up in smoke. Maybe Wu checked out some important tomes to study at home. To say nothing of the precious bottles and vials of mixtures, some of them probably irreplaceable, to stop otherwise almost undefeatable bad wesen. Kinda breathtaking. Seems like there should be a good reason for this catastrophe and maybe there is, maybe she got the idea from Kenneth in order to cut off an important means of fighting back against the treacherous scheming of the families, for instance. Because it has been said that the Royals are promoting social disorder and chaos wherever they can to make people trade their liberty for security; connects with Renard's statement about wesen-related criminal activity. I'm beginning to see a conspiracy theory behind every flower pot, I know. Smile

Is Elizabeth working for the Royals? Oh, probably not, but she is at the center of most of the devastation that is befalling Portland's little pocket of resistance against their ruthless drive to subjugate the world's populations. I don't think she wants to see her son suffer, though, so that doesn't fit. This thing with Renard's got me wringing my hand with worry - where's the reset button.

If the writers meant to shock and awe, they got the job done as far as I am concerned. When worlds collide. And we have three more episode to go.

I believe that's why trubel returns next week . She does have a copy of the books that perished in the fire. Remember she was reading one , when Wu saw it in her bed room???, but with the rest the weapons the potions used all gone . Juliette is at the point of no return sadly

Yes, it's good that Trubel has the book, maybe it's one of the really important ones. Also, Wu has the curiosity of the very intelligent and has been studying after hours so to speak, so he may very well have some books, too. Plus, we know there are other Grimm libraries and collections around, so guess all is not lost.

Since doing away with the trailer was a deliberate move on the part of the writers, it makes me think there may be a reason for doing so, and not just mindless rage, in which case, I can still hold on to the increasingly thin thread of hope that Juliette will settle down to a sort of level one hurricane force. Smile And as an exercise in extreme wishful thinking, someone may have had the foresight to equip the trailer with a fire-detecting sprinkler system! Out there in the remote depth of the woods, yeah.

Don't forget to vote on this episode even if you don't post a review, it will be very interesting to see how the poll goes!

Absolutely loved this episode! The commentary between Adaline, Renard and Nick was hilarous. Julliete must pay for, destroying aunt Maries trailer!

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit. It seems that Juliette has become full on evil now. Not sure if I like this development or not. But at least it makes her more interesting.

As for burning the trailer, I can't quite figure out why the writers' did that. As others have said, the trailer was almost a character itself. But something must survive because in the promo photos for next week Wu is holding a couple of charred Grimm books.

Other folks have said that Truble may bring the Grimm books she got from Rolek back to Portland. But I'm pretty sure she left the trunks' contents with Nick when she left with Josh. Or am I mistaken? Dodgy

Just a few books or whatever is left is not going to make that much of a difference. The trailer was like a character. Sort of the substitute for whats-his-name, in Buffy. So burning the trailer is just about unforgivable.

Ever since the show started there were a lot of fans that were "Juliette haters". I always thought that they were a vocal minority. And in this forum they weren't even that vocal. But over in IMDB they were pretty vocal.

Anyway, I fear that the writers have been listening to them and are setting it up so that we want Nick to kill her, and are happy when he does. I'm hoping that all this is just to set up a huge dramatic conclusion to the season - or a hell of a cliff hanger (Nick posed over Juliette's limp body with a machete) . And that next season things return to Grimm's version of normal.

RE: S4E19 - Iron Hans - Kathryn Wooten - 04-25-2015

I believe also the friend who shoots Monroe is Julieette after her gun wrestle with Nick.. I think Renard is proseessed or being used by that entity and he is using a portal to get to Renard and were he wants Renard to go...As I said there is no possible way at all..that Renard could walk through Portland in his bare feet and in Pajamas without being notice. and not to mention he is along away from the beach house .So I think that bloodied clawed entitiy is taking Renard through his portal ....because there is no way Renard coulld go through town and not be seen and every time it enters Renard he suffers great debilating pain.

I enjoyed this episode! I said this before, I was one of those who didn't care much about Juliette. But now, I love the twist the writers are doing. And I hope they keep it up, Juliette turning evil and Adalind turning good. Nick slowly accepting Adalind and the baby.

Maybe in the next season Nick or whomever will come across another vessen book collection. There has to be more Grimm dairies out there. Still the trailer being destroyed is sad.

I'm telling you guys Nickaline relationship is perfect! I have had thoughts about them as a couple since the first episode. Adalind taking Nick's hand to feel their child was heart whelming. All Nick has to do is kill Julieete first lol.

I believe the elderly grimm who died left a lot of Grimm stuff including the books Trubel is reading up...I do believe they are in a warehouse they were hidden from the royals, Still it does not take the place of the heirloom Nick's aunt gave him, that can never be replaced

I rewind the scene with Renard in the park he seemed still possesses by the puppeteer, Renard seemed to be looking at his hands through the eyes of the puppeteer in disbelief as if to say I did this and then ( it fled) from the body leaving Renard befuddled and confused , perhaps frighten in the park. if you look closely Renard pajamas were torn in several places on his left arm sleeve it is clearly noticeable on his arm sleeve it was torn on the shoulder part and half way down the sleeve...So if this man he assaulted did not see who hit him..it is assumed Renard was never touched, so this leave a hug question :why was his pajamas torn and how????

RE: S4E19 - Iron Hans - Hexenadler - 04-25-2015

IRON HANS was pure, unadulterated misery porn. I spent the rest of the night vomiting into the toilet. I can't keep watching this show without adversely affecting my health, so I'm moving on for the time being.

Juliette has ceased to be a sympathetic character. She doesn't even evoke a sense of tragedy any more. She's simply a one-note monster inflicting emotional and physical pain wherever she goes. It's not dramatic, it's not innovative, it's just depressing as fuck. It's an all-around bad creative decision to make the viewer want Nick to decapitate Juliette instead of save her. I also suspect this is GRIMM's attempt to mimic Willow's turn to the dark side in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," only twice as ugly and drawn out.

And Kenneth. I'm incapable of watching another episode until he's dead.

I might drop by once in a while on the forum, but only to chat with fellow fans, and not to discuss anything about what's currently going on in the show. Waiting every week for a new episode has become a sadomasochistic routine, and I'm done.
