Prior to listening to the podcast I re-watch the episodes and refer to it as our young ladies discuss it. Since its only gotten to as far as of this posting, S1, E18, I can see how much more the my view of the characters and the story line, aligns with my many views and arguments expressed on so many of these threads. I am hoping it continues through all 6 Seasons/123 Episodes.
I saw this movie earlier in the year. Without going into spoilers, I'll just say this is exactly how Nick and Juliette's relationship should have turned out at the end of the fourth season.
So. I was watching S3, E9 of the series "Good Girls". The star of the show is the very HOT red head, Christina Hendricks, famed from the Mad Men series. How doe is tie in the the show Grimm, you ask?
Well the Season 3, 9th episode of the show "Good Girls" starts out with the famed West Side Story song "I Feel Pretty". This is the song I kept referring to a particular poster whom, by said poster's own admission on a deleted posting. Instead of watching the show, this poster, claimed to enjoying the Grimm's musical score instead of actually watching it, while doing house cleanings. Then would proceed coming on these threads expressing unfounded or lopsided opinions on made up scenarios which did not exist, yet insisting , even after some of us posting actual script sequences to prove claimed facts were dumbfounded.
On this particular episodes, S3, E9. The other tie was a cameo appearance of the actress Madelina Zima, as the character, Lila. This actress played the character Emily Troyer in Grimm, S5-E4 Maiden Quest.
Given such overwhelming signs from the "Grimm Gods", I had to check in and sure enough, the continuous revamping of old post continues, LOL.
Someone is, for sure, in dire need to get a life.
I was over at Grimm Wiki looking at the Grimm family trees. If Nick can trace his ancestry all the way back to the first Grimm, how is it that his family tree is so incomplete? You would think that even if once piece of the puzzle was missing, then a trace would be impossible.
Since we still haven't seen a spinoff of our favorite show yet, may I recommend watching "Beauty and the Beast", as a filler for now. here is the IMDb link so there is no confusion to the many other movies/series out there with a similar title: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2193041/
This is the TV series that ran from 2012 - 2016 starring Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan. Now let me make this perfectly clear, it is NOT Grimm but IMO, it comes SOMEWHAT close. It just might alleviate some of your GRIMM WITHDRAWALS SYMPTOMS.
This series of about 70 episodes, running for 4 seasons with a bit of a twist on our beloved Grimm show. The roles are a bit of a reversal since in this show, the lead character is a female cop and the co-lead "Grimm/Wessen" filler, is the male character or as they call him here, The Beast. You will get a better understanding of what i meant by Grimm/Wessen once you get into it.
I don't want to give away the too much info up front but I think all you few Nicolette fans, will favor the romance arc better, plus the ending leaves us with LESS loose ends. Give it a shot for a few episodes and tell me what you think. I downstream mines on Netflix.
OK so, after my 9th or 10th viewing of the show from my Amazon Prime subscription on my LG Nanocell 86 inch TV. I have concluded the Monroe surname and whom owned Nicks House.
In the scene after baby Kelly is born and taken to Nicks home. Monroe and Rosalie were setting up the home for the newborn. On the way out, Monroe tells Nick to move from his home, due to all the past bad occurrences that took place in his abode.
In the scene when the movers are taking out the remaining boxes, Adalind asked Nick, how long had he lived there. Nick replies, he bough the house six and a half years prior. He never mentioned he moved in with Juliette or bought it with Juliette.
As for the argument about Nick moving out of Juliette's house after she came out of her coma. Some will try to make the otherwise argument, because they are confused by their inability to distinguish ownership to chivalry. Nick first slept on the couch, since she did not remembered him. he then tried sleeping in the trailer, then he moved in with Monroe. He was being a gentleman and trying to win her back. Us gentlemen would have NOT kicked her out!
As for Monroe's surname. There is the infamous scene when Monroe was in the early stages of entertaining Rosalee. He pulls out a serving plate with what he called, "his family crest" with the same type of banner Hank was looking at in the Grimm book of ancestry and the name was 'Blutbaden'. In addition, he also had a Blutbaden figure on the stain glass window of his door. why would a not -so-nice type of Wesen broadcast the type of specie of Wesen living there, nor would they use old time advertising by plastering their species on a formal serving plate, if they all lived incognito. He had that figure on his door because it represented his family surname & crest of a Blutbaden.
Some will claim the question was asked with one of the show's producer or writer and as I recalled it, he wasn't forthcoming. Some will attest to a Rosalee's sonogram having the name Rosalee Monroe. If Monroe was his surname, why would his uncle and his father call him by his surname and not his 1st name? Because his 1st name was Monroe and his family name was Blutbaden.
I think this was the episode about the alien sightings, S2, E19, Endangered. Nick starts to ask Sean about the 7 keys. Renard tells Nick, the royals hold 4 of the keys. Besides the one key Nick has, Renard tells him there are 2 more missing.
As it turns out, when we get to S3, E21, The Inheritance. Rolek gives Nick his 2nd key. Then we get to S5, E10, Map of the Seven Knights. When the gang gets to open the trunk from Monroe's uncle, they find 3 more keys. So what happened to the story Sean told Nick about the Royals having 4 of the keys. Last time I looked, 5 plus 4 equals 9, not 7.
Was Sean lying? Did the Royals lie to Sean? Did the creative team screw up and had to revamp the "keys arc"?
I don't recall if this other question was raised in any other treads. My question to the creative team is about the whole "Contaminatio Ritualis" Adalind had to go trough, to get her Hex back. Why did she have to go through that whole ordeal to get her powers back?
Juliette became a Hexenbiest because she got another Hex, Sean's mom, Elizabeth, to make her a potion to turn Juliette into Adalind, so she could bed Nick to get his Grimm back. It wasn't the sex that turned her into a Hex, it was her transforming into Adalind, for a short while.
All Adalind had to do was go see another Hexenbiest, such as, Henrietta. Ask Henrietta, to make a potion, for her, to turn Adalind into Henrietta, her self, for a short wile. And WHA-LA Adalind gets back her Hex. No need to kill another Hex and tear out her heart, while it was still beating. No need to go bury that heart. No need to kill off a whole meadow of pretty flowers and worst of all, no needed to have to bite cut off the treading string after sowing Frau Pech's chest.
Hey guys, are you all boring staying at home. My condition is just like you. Feeling helpless, sad & lonely. But guys, it's not the time to be sad. It is the time to be helpful & to encourage others.
There seems like there was a story of possible spin-off being created but with the pandemic, it seems like it would be a little while until we hear about the release if they are still working on it.
Just for fun, what do you think would be a great possible storyline for this spin-off and who would the main characters be?
For me, if there is a female lead like the article says, I would introduce a new female Grimm cop that takes over Nick after he retires from his duties and befriends Diana and Kelly ( as part of the continuation of the finale episode ). Alternatively, having a series on Nick's Grimm ancestors would be interesting too except we wouldn't be seeing the original cast again in that case.
