A green-eyed monster is traditionally used as a way to describe jealously. Diana could possibly be unconsciously presenting a form that represents her jealous attachment to her parents.Does anyone wonder what a grimm would look in the other place?
Or not.
Maybe they look different or maybe they look like their inner selves symbolically look like, as in the case of what I proposed in the above post.
I've seen mention of that possibility in reference to spoilers, but I don't read the spoilers, just come across posts in other threads. But it seems to be in the cards that there may be a Grimm who is causing chaos in this other dimension. If so, Nick would have to be creating this other side and he doesn't seem to be doing so purposefully. In the way that I imagine Diana is doing, I mean. So it may look just like him, but evil, so his expressions would be meaner, maybe.

@MaryLikesGrimm: Like the guy in that picture, I suppose. I'm going on guesswork now, but it looks like our mirror monster on the ground. Which I'm thinking is looking up a nightmare-Nick since it's in reference to your question that we have this photo.
At least he has to decency to wear his trousers, but the similarity ends there, imo. What I am certain about is the setting, which is that replica near Portland of the Druid Stone Henge (sp).
