Wynona is a descendant of Wyatt Earp (ah Kurt Russell, woohoo), which is rather a cool concept. She comes home after a rather tough life to battle demons. No one wants her there except for her sister. Doc warms to her somewhat but I don't know if that's because he really likes her or likes her bod.
Wynona was obviously a troubled child and a troublemaker and I like that about her. I also like that she is able see her failings. The series is a lot like Grimm with one big difference. They don't shy away from two women eying one another and developing a relationship.
I'm not sure I like the series yet. It's very uneven and in my opinion none of the characters really has a chemistry with the others. But I plan on tuning in in July to see if Sci-Fi has tightened up the series.

I liked King Arthur, mainly because Owen has such an intense presence and that seems to fit well with the legend. Plus I really liked the way the movie fitted bits and pieces together to form the legend.
But Excalibur far and easily is the best King Arthur movie I have ever seen and ranks in my top all time favorite movies. I watch it whenever its on and marvel at the fact that as old as that movie is, it remains as fresh and wonderful as if it were just filmed a few years ago.
I knew that you had class, Iruk!
"King Arthur" had a great cast and a fairly gritty take on the Arthurian legend, while ignoring the side story of L & G's little tryst, which I liked.
Excalibur is a once in life time movie. The cast is just amazing, as are special effects for a movie from the '80s. Always have to watch it when I see, especially the opening scenes when Merlin calls the 'dragon.'
Aw (blushing) Thanks! I also liked that King Arthur ignored the L&G tryst as well.
But I agree with you hands down on Excalibur. I think one of the things that makes it so great is that there is no one cast member that carries the movie. Clive Owen carries it in King Arthur, in my opinion. Not so in Excalibur. Each cast member is so good they combine to make an epic.
On the subject of King Arthur, have you watched the Merlin mini-series with Sam Neill? I saw it when it first came out, and watched it faithfully ever Easter. One day I was at the media store and happened to come across it and nabbed it. It's quite good, a version of the King Arthur legend from Merlin's perspective.
The best way to frustrate a cyberbully is to ignore him.
