HW is likely to have had DNA tests done on Diana.
Adalind is the one who should be doing DNA tests on big Diana. Why are you guy not saying that?
If someone doesn't believe a medical report why should purple eyes tell you anything.
This is a crime show that never reports on DNA and that is okay with all of you.
The medical reports provided an estimate of when conception occurred, which was enough for it to be credible that the baby could be Sean's. But whether Sean told Adalind he believed the baby was his because he actually believed that or if he just told her that because he wanted her to go with Meisner so he could keep the royals from getting the baby is another matter. Just because Sean says something doesn't mean it's true or even that he believes it is.
HW might have done DNA analysis of Diana's blood as part of a general medical profile, but without blood from Adalind or Sean, parentage wouldn't be something they could verify. But HW's interest in Diana was mostly because of all the other people who were interested in her, and the potential usefulness and/or danger of her abilities. Who her parents actually were was of little or no importance to them.
If I was Adalind, I would definitely want proof that the little girl presented to me as Diana actually was her. But Adalind isn't always terribly smart, is she? Or maybe she just wants her daughter so much that she can't entertain the thought that maybe she still doesn't really have her.
DNA has been mentioned in passing on Grimm, mostly in dialog about how useless it is in wesen related cases. It hasn't come up in the cases handled by Nick and Hank because most of their bad guys are wesen who end up committing suicide by Grimm before the end of the episode and never go to trial.
