Truble and love.
I am a Truble fan, in many ways I think she is one of the most interesting characters(see footnote #1).
So in that context I ask a simple question: given her background and what has transpired will Truble ever be able to know love?
I believe they have alluded to her having been assaulted in th past, presumably sexually, as well as just out an out physical abuse. She also has bounced around from institution to institution and up until Nick had no one to trust or believe in her. She seemed to bond to Juliette, whom she now had to kill. And Kiley one of the most precious thing she saw, was for a while, a semi-normalized, seemingly loving relationship between Nick and Juliette. Now that is gone, in what must have seemed like an instant to Truble.
Given that, can Truble ever open herself up to “love”? A Friend of mine recently revealed on of her laments, it was, and I quote:
“ It just never really happened for me. Finding love and all that.”
This from a woman who was married 2x and had children. Now, getting toward 50 she realizes it is an aspect of human expression she is likely t never know, hence her lament. And that is what set me to thinking about Truble. So the question is, given what is likely to have happened to Truble, what she has seen and the path in front of her, is Trubel ever likely to experience the gentle hand of love?

#1 (Monroe, is by far the most interesting, then I would say Truble & Renard. Both Renard and Truble have development potential that exceeds that of any other character, Truble clearly has the most potential for character development, then maybe Renard. Monroe’s past would be a fascinating study, they have filed in some of it and it would be a wild and woolly ride recounting they many evolutions of Monroe. Grimm is rather interesting to me, in that the lead character the story revolves around in many ways a bit player and overshadowed in many ways by what amounts to mere character actors and the supporting cast.
