I don;t like the story line. You already have a fantasy universe of wesen and grimms, you don't need keys, covert government operations etc. You already have enough material to work with in the creatures and mythology.
Quote:4. The Lost Boys looked like a "filler" episode to me. It was nice enough as a stand-alone episode, but it's like they filmed 3-4 minutes for scenes from the over-arcing story and plugged them in randomly during this episode. It's almost like those scenes could be put in any episode. By the way, that seems to be a pattern in previous seasons as well. It's like: Here is the standard Wessen of the Week--and we're going to splice in 3 minutes of stuff hard-core fans have been clamoring for.
I agree it looked like filler, and IMO, was way too rushed of an episode. The whole concept could easily have been a longer subplot dealing with wesen youth that spanned a few episodes. As it is, they wasted a lot of potential. If they need filler revisit Bud and the Lodge concept.
Quote:5. The Nick/Adalind thing has potential, but as many have pointed out here, the writers need to slow things down. Look, how far time-wise are we removed from Juliette being "dead"? Nick seems to be moving on pretty fast. The raw emotion that he showed at the end of season 4 and in the first episode of season 5 was awesome. Maybe he is just numb now, but I would like for the writers to play more into his emotions. Doesn't Nick realize that Adalind and Renard(to a lesser degree) are the reason that he lost Juliette? What is this, forgive and forget?
He is acting matter of fact, which makes sense. As you said numb. As far as Adalind goes, why dwell on it? It will be to the detriment of the child. He knows what she is capable of, he should remain guarded but why agitate the situation. I assume she is breastfeeding, last I knew stress hormones in mother;s milk is not the best for the child.

Quote:B. What's up with the keys? Are they going to play into this "uprising"?
I could care less about he keys. The sooner they are forgotten the better in my view.

F. What's going on with Diana? Is she going to age naturally, or is it going to be like Connor from "Angel"? Same thing with Kelly.
Another aspect I could do without. I just have no interest in Diana.
Cheers...
