Sasha Roiz gets to prove his polyglot status once again this episode. (It always amazes me when people can speak more than one language; I can hardly handle my native one. Props to all our native German-speaking friends at the Forum, btw. You guys are awesome.)
Anyone else find it odd that Renard couldn't see Myshkin transform though? I thought other Wesen (okay, half-Wesen) could detect one another. Or maybe I just assumed that.
I like the "enemy of my enemy" plot with Renard and Adalind. In the future, I would love to see them pitted against (Renard's cousin) Viktor. Royal fight!
On the importance of Royal babies: I suspect, although this is only a "fan theory" of mine, that the Royals hold some sort of actual mystical or supernatural importance rather than just the symbolic power of ordinary human figureheads. (Which might explain why Adalind's sprout had the strange two-heartbeat thing going on; she didn't seem to expect that part of the deal at all. Them not being mere humans would help explain why the Royals are involved with things like the Verrat, Wesen, and Grimm.)
And Adalind's child will probably be considered closer to Royal succession than Viktor (plus the brat wouldn't have the pesky problem of interrupting a marriage since Eric Renard was seemingly unattached). That second one isn't out of the realm of possibility since the evil cousin's full name is apparently "Viktor Albert Wilhelm George Beckendorf". Not a Renard surname in sight with that jumble.
Alternatively, the kid could be used to power some magical artifact or act as a loyalty-gathering device since Royal blood is (likely) special or something. Don't know.
Also must say thanks to the writers for introducing a potential girlfriend for Hank who will probably not feed him demon blood cookies or try to eat his face off or something. The man needs a little normalcy in his life.
