After some thought and discussion with some law enforcement biddies, I think the prostitution thing is the most realistic concept. Combine it with blackmail and it certainly would make for a interesting subplot for part of the season. It has been done to death (three excellent takes on it were done in old TV westerns, Have Gun Will Travel, Gunsmoke, and the pilot for an obscure western called the Westerner dealt with it in various ways. You could even stretch the famous John Wayne western The Searchers as a variation on it. So the challenge to the writers would be to use the length of the season to build and add depth to the characters, tension, and a rich resolution.

@jsgrimm. I think you already have an idea on how this may play out. Someone blackmails Rosalee. She eventually tells Monroe. Monroe goes back to the 'old ways'. Nobody messes with his woman! There is that strange duality of the human mind. While he might be very hurt by knowing her past, yet at the same time he would be infuriated that someone would try to use that against her.
This is where Nick and Hank come into the picture. There are some dead bodies laying around and the evidence points to Monroe! Things could get sticky at this point!

Relapses back to addiction can happen many years of sobriety. I heard one guy state he lapsed after 25 years because he saw that alcohol was in mouthwash and knew it was all over. During periods of stess-and this has been a stressful couple of months for Rosealle, it is easy to lapse back to the old ways. I see relapse to J or something as a strong possibility.

Still think the idea of blackmail is best. But you have a point. I knew a Korean War veteran who relapsed after 41 years!

In the previews of next week why would they have kidnapped? What could be the reason? We know that in one preview she says it a trap. This has to be the reason to bring in the scooby's. They may think the scooby's are an unknown and want them out of the way.

Actually, the show is getting back to the original version of "Peter Pan" A few months ago I remarked to another forum member that in the original version, Pan kidnapped children and took them to Neverland. When they approached adulthood he killed them. (No grownups allowed in Neverland!). Captain Hook and his crew were boys who managed to escape from Pan and were trying to stop him! Disney pretty much turned the story upside down.

S5E3 I think is a setup for the Wesen Council to have Rosalee go undercover with a drug problem to be recruited by this new group. One of the kids she was with in E3 will sell her out that she knows a Grimm. Because of her acting on council work she wouldn't tell Monroe there is their problems.
The preview of her saying it's a trap the girl tells her they know about her and it is a setup for Nick the Grimm. How do you see this?

We seen in 7 knights that Monroe and Nick will go to the black forest. I can see Trubel watch out for Adalind and Kelly do you see her also watching out for Rosalee. As I see this as the time whoever is making the calls to make their move, with Monroe gone. How does the forum see it?

How does the forum see it? I see the whole 'family' forting up in the Grimm Lair, or in HW's operational center. If Nick and Monroe are making a run for the hidden whatever, not even HW can ignore that. Way to potentially valuable. Do not allow anyone the opportunity to get close to anyone Nick and Monroe care about.
