Hello Forum,
The Grimm tv show was inspired by Grimm's Fairy Tales. However the choice of the character names brings to mind Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Wikipedia is a good source of information:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romeo_and_Juliet
Check out the characters and synopsis. There is Juliet (Juliette?), Rosaline (Rosalee?), Prince Escalus (Prince Sean Renard?). There is love. There is fighting. There is murder. There is even a potion for a “deathlike coma.” So in Grimm if Nick is Romeo, will the show end with Nick poisoning himself and Juliette stabbing herself with a dagger?
But wait. Juliette tried to murder Nick, but was shot by Trubel. She died in Nick’s arms. That was a powerful tragic ending.
So far, IMO, the reboot with FrankenEve has considerably less dramatic power than the first four seasons. Will the writers be able to bring the show back to life?
