I am sure Juliette would not ask Nick questions if he was investigating the murder of the President. However, she calls him, some skank answers the phone, she hears a flimsy explanation about a fight with said skank who is not currently in jail? Have you ever watched Cops--by the way my son was one. He is getting email from Love M? Nick had given her permission to look at his emails, but sometimes people slip up. People can feel they are in love with another, but if a red flag goes up, a few questions are prudent.
I never said its inappropriate to ask question. The point I was trying to make was, not all partners in life are capable being married to law enforcement. Unlike most jobs that deal with various types of people, LE members tend to deal more with the undesirables of the community. Not all LE, depending in what division they work with, exposes them to some types that most of us hardly ever run into.
Just compare the people Juliette or Monroe had to deal with while doing their jobs. A Watchmaker and a Veterinarian. Nick was a Homicide Detective. Juliette is an intelligent professional woman, Some claim Vets have to be more varied in medical knowledge, since they deal not just with one species, humans. They have to have knowledge of not just mammals, but birds, reptiles and probably some amphibians. This is not your average woman with an average intellect that became a Vet.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out his job calls for dealing with abnormal people an situations. Nothing was forcing her to stay. Even with the coma incident, why didn't she leave. Yea I know, that's how the writers wrote her character. Maybe another woman would have left him earlier on. Maybe another woman would not even dated a cop.
But this is the women they wrote and this is the women we have to analyze, as she was presented not as we wished she was. And this woman was unable to accept his behavior in doing his job. The only time he did cheat on her was whit Adalind morphed into Juliette, if you can even consider it "cheating".
Even with the email incident. If he had something to hide, why did he disclose to her his his password. Why he let her use it without any reservations. How about when he tried to tell Juliette about Adalind being a witch. Juliette's remarks, before he even had a chance to finish his sentence, she questioned him if he was having an affair with her.
Portland is a city in the USA. USA Federal law declares all of its residents are innocent until proven guilty. To Juliette, Nick was always guilty until proven innocent.
You know you are OLD, when you see the Slide Ruler you used in college selling in an ANTIQUE SHOP!!
