It’s utter nonsense to just totally disregard a scene that was just cut for time purposes. In movies for example a lot of times the extended version is better than the aired version. Yes some deleted scenes if the go against show narrative don’t serve much pourpose, how ever if they were just cut for time and fit in with the rest of the show they should be counted .Hello Henry,
The lost show runners for example often encouraged fans to count most of the shows deleted scenes on dvds as just extra canon .
If you read the original texts such as the "Lord of the Rings" will the film version be complete and identical? IMO there is no way to get the full story into a film so various scenes get deleted. If a question is raised about a missing scene, the original publication should be authoritative.
If the Grimm writers included a scene that was filmed, but later deleted, IMO the deleted scene is authoritative also. Perhaps the author would know "authoritative" information in such cases.
You nailed it again!
