Since it's the First Day of the Grimm Rewatch, I'll post my checklist for things I'd like people to notice for each episode.
Episode 1: Pilot 1. The jogger is killed near "Talon Creek." 2. The license plate for Aunt Marie's car is for the "treasure state", i.e., Montana. 3. Based on Aunt Marie's comment, "did you see Hulda for what he really is?" it's unclear whether the authors had come up with the distinction between mini-woge and full-woge. The fact Hulda changed back into human form upon dying resembles many of our instances of full-woge. But with Aunt Marie's comment, that woge form was apparently only visible if Nick was a grimm. 4. Am I the only who who thinks the evil blutbad looks like Steve Carell? 5. The black and white opening Grimm promo. I personally think this one is pretty cool. Episode 2: Bears Will Be Bears 1. Gilda gots a nice body (see, e.g, bedroom scene) 2. The father jagerbar recognizes that Nick is a grimm without ever woging in front of Nick. 3. The son jagarbar does woge while talking to Nick, but makes no reaction or ever says anything about Nick being a grimm. 4. This is the episode that introduce the opening Grimm promo that was used for the rest of season 1. Make sure you catch the "ghost" at the end of it. I speculated that the "ghost" might provide hints at a Grimm woge, but the promo is no longer used, and we're unlikely ever to know the basis for it. It could also be a hexenbiest. 5. Monroe sure has some superhuman strength. Too bad the show never touched upon this again.
