Miesner saved Renard., it was not his time to go .....makes you wonder if there is a bigger plan , than realizing he was on the wrong side

I noticed that Meisner was able to temporarily incapacitate the second assassin while Renard took out the first one, which goes along with him being more than a ghostly messenger.
Renard said he was tired of taking orders, he didn’t say he was ready to be a loyal member of Team Grimm, but Meisner appeared to take it that way. So is his work done or will he be back? I only scanned the episode for Renard scenes, were there more than the assassination attempt?

What do not understand why Miesner had to do it at all Renard is a serious good marks man and probably could kill both without Miesner assistance..I mean the senior BC did not hear Renard come up to him .. another thing..Why didn't the second man now blinded yell out to say he can't see?? and lastly were they going to stay down in the garage until Sean decided to come down???seems to me at times Renard pulls a all nighter what were they going to do play checkers until he decided to go home? Don't forget Renard also said He was tires of BC na he was tired of him , then he open the door and lastly said: " your right I am glad we had this talk "

Well, if Meisner still has a specific task for Renard there’s no reason to risk one of the guys getting off a shot that could take him out. Renard might be skilled with a gun but as we’ve seen, he’s not bullet proof.
So are you thinking Renard’s “I’m tired of taking orders” and “glad we had this talk” was an intentional double entendre disrespecting the BC member and he’s clearly decided to go Team Grimm?

I think The Renard we knew..would never be a Yes man or a follower to no one He is the prince , people follow him , if not you know what happens. I think Renard , now was fed up, he finally realizes the BC dream led to no where, but torment , misery and a lost of a good friend and the lost of respect from his friends and he ended up alone...maybe he had the light go off , after the BC member began ordering him around again and Renard finally realize how wrong he was.

That would make Sean a pretty slow learner. That was a lesson he should have learned the night Conrad killed Meisner and tortured Adalind.

Other than Renard was never a yes man before S5, our take on the character is very different. I don’t see Renard mourning the loss of a good friend, whether Meisner, Nick, or both. Renard values assets and allies, not friendships. Renard is experiencing the burn of losing his power grab and Grimm asset, and that the Grimm won in their spitting contest. What the show did to Adalind in S5 is sad, to do that to Renard in S6 would be an abomination. If the gang is going up against their most sinister and powerful threat, they need the S1 Renard, not the one from S5. And considering Renard is the only interest I have in S6, I hope his priority is protecting Diana, his daughter and most valuable asset, rather than becoming another faithful Grimm follower.

If so, he'll send the right message to those who'd come after him or anyone under his protection.
