Based on the stick’s powers established in S5, I’m not sure what benefit Renard would see in the stick other than healing him if he were mortally wounded. So far the stick has healed wounds for Monroe, Juliette and twice for Nick, so the ground has been laid for any repercussions of using the stick.
If Renard learns about the stick, and how would he unless Nick is dumb enough to tell him about it, he might want the stick in hopes of undiscovered potential, or to simply prevent it from helping Nick and Team Grimm. To say that Renard would not use the stick for evil per say is much like saying Renard didn’t intend anyone to be harmed when he joined BC, he just really wanted to be mayor and bad stuff just happened.

What kind of repercussions does everyone think using the stick will have? It can heal, can it also kill? The way the skulls in the cave were pointing inward like they were all watching it makes me wonder where they Grimm skulls or just random skulls used by who set it up?
The dark does have its bright side.
In a shorten season I don't think they will have time to show a down side to the relic. We may find a book with a list of the down side tell the correct way to use the relic and an incorrect way which would lead to the down side. Than pretty much drop the relic.

I hope the writers explore more the relic... but don't you think it should do more? I mean... it is a treasure the royals searched for hundread years and the only thing it does as far as we know is healing... Obs.: I am sorry if this was already asked but I have being away for a time...

The royals would have liked anything that might heal a royal giving them a longer life without illness, and the royals may not even know what it does only if the Grimms didn't give it to them, that in and of itself give them a reason to want it. This is how I lean just wanted it because the Grimms didn't want them to have it.

Some months ago I posted that I thought the relic should be destroyed. Now I'm presenting the case again. Humankind will never stop competing for possession of something as powerful and rare as the stick. Groups and even countries would likely wage war to have it for their own, imo. And since it defies the laws of nature and physics, there could be no force to equal it, no way for the rest of the planet's populations to create the balance of power that more or less maintains the fragile peace in the competition for the world's dwindling resources.
I am thinking the writers will contrive to have it destroyed as part of the wrap-up of the show.

Judging from how other loose ends were wrapped up by the writers in previous seasons, the stick will either be used as a McGuffin for the series finale, or it'll be dropped entirely in the first episode. There's no middle ground.

I think the season 6 will be all but the stick and what it can do....can it do more than heal.. is it or can it be used as a wand......there is a reason it has 2 sides to the stick a warning side..becareful what you ask for " it can be good , but it can be bad"

There's no middle ground. It's always bothered me. It's too powerful for any being with the awareness of self (because that means ego) to handle appropriately, imo. Whether we view the biblical account of the Garden of Eden as divine revelation or just a beautiful allegorical story to explain human imperfection, we all know even the very best of us is very flawed. If it is too powerful for even the most sainted among us, then think of the catastrophe that could come from its use by a rather ordinary mortal. So even if the main theme of the last season centers around the stick, I hope it will be recognized (by Nick, in my dream design) that mankind has not advanced enough to be trusted to use its power - maybe they can hide it in a place that won't be discovered for another century; way cool.
