Actually, no birth control is 100% effective even when used perfectly, so we don't actually know she wasn't on it just from the fact of her pregnancy. But her reaction makes it highly likely she wasn't on birth control at the time, and for at least the time she was in the dungeon I doubt she was taking any sort of birth control pills. Or did you mean she wouldn't be on birth control now because she had recently given birth?
But this question is very intriguing.
If birth control status does go along with the body switching and Adalind knew that, she might have assumed that Juliette was on birth control and so wouldn't need to be on any herself. Otherwise if I were her I probably would want to be on something because I really wouldn't want Nick's baby, even if I were ready to get pregnant again so soon, which I probably wouldn't be. I think. Do we know how old Diana was at the time? I think she was born last season, so less than a year, right?
And if the birth control transfer, do the effects only last as long as the body change? So if the egg implanted during that time a pregnancy would last, but it couldn't be fertilized later? And would this be based on Adlind's fertility cycle at the time, not Juliette's?
And if she did get pregnant, would it be Juliette's genetic child or Adalind's? Could the child be hexenbiest and grimm?
I guess this discussion was relevant after all.
