At first Sean knew there was Royal blood on the market. That was when he choose to make an offer. Sabastain then confirmed it was Adalind. Later on Meisner confirmed she had her powers. There was never any direct conformation as to what Sean's opinion or view was on what Adalind did.
Some assume It was the reason why Sean agreed the Kelly would make a better mother the Adalind. It is also speculated that is why Sean did not tell Adalind what they where doing. But nothing in the show supports that theory either way.

Renard doesn’t have the moral footing to question, much less accuse Adalind. To do so would be akin to him getting upset that she took time for personal pleasure before delivering the death sentence he ordered for Hank.
With Kelly Burkhardt standing in front of him and Viktor approaching from behind, Renard folded like a cheap card table. He didn’t make any attempt to work with or around Meisner to get Diana back. He was only interested in reuniting with his daughter and telling Adalind where she was when BC insisted he create a family image. Being content that his daughter is being raised by strangers is bad enough, conspiring to put her in the middle of a violent faction/revolution is reprehensible. Had Renard protected Adalind as he promised to do instead of throwing her under the bus in order to forge an alliance with the Grimm, there probably wouldn't have been a Royal heir to trade for the Hexenbiest ritual.

In all honesty don't think Sean cared. He seemed indifferent to the idea of Diana before BC incident. I mean he currently loves her but prior to that he seemed in different.
I mean this was kinda of seen when he handed her off to Kelly. Why give her to someone who couldn't even raise their own child because being around them was dangerous? If Kelly gave up raising Nick why would you hand your daughter over to her? This just never made any sense to me. I can understand you sending Adalind and Diana together out of town. I take it people do not believe Viktor would have killed them all. Remember Viktor has the Vertte. These are trained killers that he would have sent one after another till the group was dead. We have seen with Viktor you fail you die. Lets also remember where Kenneth asked could he take care of Sean if he got in the way. Viktor ordered the King dead because the king replaced him.

Yes, that is why we know Adalind was telling the truth to Sean in the car/truck that Viktor was going to have her kiled.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.
