OK folks, all your explanations in replying to my question are all well and thought out and make sense. Except, you all base those deductions on what we were seeing how Adalind was changing from the time she got her Hex back and started to lotion up her belly with the dead flowers and the dead Hex pink cream.
Sean, Kelly and Nick and Co. only knew the Adalind that was before. They were not privy to what we saw as the audience. IMO, this is the BIG FACTOR, on determining if what they did as a group, again, with the daddy in the forefront, tried to make a bad situation into a better one. Not a good one but a better one.
Legally, I have to admit, it was unlawful, but as I have said it elsewhere. This is a Wesen matter and taking a chance, with the Adalind that the gang knew, not the Adalind we got to know required a Wesen solution, not a legal one.
To chance a turn over to the Royals such a powerful weapon, Diana, was too much to consider by taking an unstable Adalind along with Kelly. After all, she did try to kill her sister Marie, and Kelly was factor in killing her mother and still pissed at Nick, Kelly’s son. Now, all the sudden, Kelly has to trust Adalind? I wouldn’t!
To add to this, do any of you actually think Adalind would have went along with Kelly after she is confronted with Kelly being Nicks mom, Marie’s sister and assisting in Catherine’s death? Lets be real here. She is A Hexenbiest and a more powerful one than the one she lost with Nick. They don’t know her new found motherhood persona.
I guess, this is one of those situations where some of us have to agree, to disagree. And I do appreciate an honest and truthful discussions with facts I can respect, even if I disagree. It was refreshing to not having to deal with false facts and baseless opinions.
P.S. One more thing. I agree, the kidnapping lead to Nick loosing his Grimm and the whole debacle that followed, but to blame the results on what happened in the end of S4, is a bit far fetched. Thats like, blaming airplane crashes to the Wright Brothers.
