Chapter 2
He awoke surrounded by damp rotting wood dirt seeping through the wood until it surrounded him completely and finally reaching and filling his mouth until he could no longer breathe and he suffocated. It's seemed like an eternity as he's succumbed to the lack of oxygen. Then he awoke finding dirt clogging his throat again and again and he kept suffocating over and over again.

Detective Deandre Brookes had just bought a new house in Sacramento. He had just been transferred to the Sacramento police department as they were short on staff. He had moved so quickly that none of his personal things had even arrived yet. The big house seemed barren and unfurnished. Not like his previous home which was richly furnished in a smaller space creating a very homely feel for himself. This place did not feel like a home at all.
As he was suffocating again he had six minutes to think for the first time in a couple of thousand deaths. My brothers, my family , all gone because I failed to act. But dying just to live again seems pointless. Every time He woke he tasted the same dirt all over again. Only to die 6 minutes later to awake to the same dirt. He hadn't spoken a word in what seemed like years. There was nothing he could do about it, he lacked any strength to move the soil maybe buy him some more time but That was to no avail eventually he stopped trying and embraced the notion that it couldn't go on for ever and one time he'd suffocate he'd stay dead. "If only" he thought desperately. Then he saw it , cracks of light through the dirt covering his eyes. The rotten wood boundary of the dirt was no longer there he believed it was finally his salvation. But then he suffocated again he couldn't hold on any longer and died once again.
Moments Previously
The only thing Deandre had taken with him was the present he got from his mother for Christmas it was a cheap metal detector and a spade . He had another day until he was due in the precinct so he thought he might aswell try out the metal detector in the back garden.
It took a around 30 minutes to pick up a signal he was actually hate about to put the metal detector away when he caught the signal around the edge of the huge green lawn around the back of Deandre's house. He took the shovel in hand and started to dig in the spot where the metal detector had set off. It took around 10 minutes to get to get to it it was very suprising as what he found was not metal it was actually wood. He brushed the dirt of the the top of the and was taken aback from the site he saw it was a shallow grave with a the bottom half of a rotting coffin showing from the hole Deandre dug. He gasped then got out his phone and dialled 911.
