What I'd really like for someone with talent to do is tackle the "untold stories" we all know are out there, such as what Kelly Burkhardt was doing in the years between her husband's death and her first visit to Portland, what happened in between her first and second visits while she was trying to dispose of the Coins of Zakynthos, what happened when Trubel and Josh got to PA and how it led to Trubel deciding to join HW. There are also tons of non-shipper tales to be told about the next 20 years after the finale, especially where Renard and the royals are concerned, because whether Renard decides to go after "King Viktor" or Viktor sends someone back to Portland still wanting the keys because the royals don't know the Grimm treasure has been found, it's a sure bet they aren't done with each other.
There are definitely a massive amount of untold stories, past and future, to be explored. Though I do like a little romance to be weaved throughout, where warranted. Call me a softy I guess. For however long it takes Greenwalt and Kouf to get some sort of spin-off green lit, (and in this age of reboots and revivals it would seem a matter of when, not if), the fandom could fill a volume the size of Lord of the Rings, with deeper explorations. (I would love to know where those other two keys are.) My greatest personal fascination is with that twenty year gap before the epilogue. (I've even started tinkering around with a rough timeline of events.) But there are even more possibilities with off screen happenings during the course of the show, character histories pre-dating season one and even historical events from antiquity. I'd love to see someone tackle Zerstorer's origins.
