my thoughts... the king thing sailed along time ago with Sean...if Viktor dies it would be up to the remaining family to vote in a king and it would not be Sean......and if by slight chance it was..Sean would not be interested.. Sean I think having everyone present at that moment 20 tears ago would do , something he told Miesner he was very incapable of doing and apologize to everyone and tell them about Miesner....now it was up to others to forgive him and give him another chance...don't get me wrong he probably had to work hard to gain their trust...could hae taken several years...because as G&K admit that everyone is one big happy family 20 years later fighting evil one way or another..... I could see Sean finally settling down..with Dasha his Russian friend.. after 20 years I do not see Sean alone, I see him more settled down.. I also would think his mother finally came home and met her grand daughter
As for politics..I could see Sean being mayor...I can see him being a good one... I'm assuming that Nick is directing this attack at the end of the series and the kids are going with him and the twins. Diana comes in to the trailer and grabs the stick. I'm not sure if she gets any other weapons at the same time, but the episode makes a point of Diana grabbing the stick. Why is that? No doubt because the stick has proven to give the new scoobies a distinct advantage. In having a distinct advantage, the risk of harm to any of them goes way down. The risk of death is non-existent. What did this wesen do that Diana is automatically sentencing him (or them) to death?

When Diana talks about killing Wesen, it looks like we're coming in on the middle of some case or conflict. It could well be some nefarious group like Black Claw they're up against, (another reason why they might need a big gun, like the staff). Whatever they're doing, the team seems to be heading into a clear fight. Not an investigation.

I believe you mean triplets not twins and the staff not the stick and Diana gives the staff to Kelly. Overwhelming force is used in real life for hostage situations and the like but Diana and Kelly did not look worried.
Women characters do not have to be having sex with the lead to be important to the story.

Renard as King. Interesting. Given Renard's moment of clarity in the finale… Would he want the throne, and if so, be drawn to the power (as in BC/political office) or grasp an opportunity to improve relationships between the Royal houses and Grimms & Wesen communities?

Nick and the scoobies already have a pretty good relationship with the non-criminal wesen of Portland.
And Renard's never going to be given an opportunity to do anything by the royals, except to stay out of their way or die. The most likely scenario that puts Renard anywhere near the throne is that Viktor and the verrat return to Portland to cause trouble again and Renard and the scoobies - or maybe Diana, who didn't think much of Viktor as an infant - end up helping him fly off the roof of the Wells Fargo Center.

I wasn’t considering the likelihood of Renard becoming king, rather questioning the long-term influence of ‘seeing the light’ in the finale. Would he covet another opportunity for power or want to use the position to make things better in general.
