It was another good one. Monroe fighting! Brief but awesome. I enjoyed how Monroe and Roselee were eager to help endangered wesen.

Continued the theme of Wesen being just as dangerous to themselves as they are to humans and Grimms.

The plots are moving forward, as usual for Grimm. :)

Juliette is closer toward figuring things out (although it's still going too slow for my tastes). It's somewhat of a negative that they've drawn this plot out as long as they have, however. And they completely dropped any lingering tension with Juliette and Renard -- it's just done. :/ You think it would leave at least some sort of problems, lol.

The mystery of the keys became more intriguing -- are Nick and the others going to have to track down these keys? Perhaps with the help of the Resistance?

Although we're no closer to figuring out exactly what (species-wise) the Royals are, we do know that they've had a lot of influence for a long time. Grimm appear to have worked for Royals at some point, although it's unknown if they still do so.

Great episode.

Interesting weson that glows in the dark and eats cow's ovaries. There seems to be a weson for everything strange. big foot, aliens, what's next? a weson that makes crop circles?

Of all the characters on the show, Rosalee is the most together. She can even deliver babies.

Best line: Juliette: Monroe, what's a Grimm?

I also liked the expression on Monroe's face when the PG girl grabbed his hand.

Pale Boy, they might have ended the Juliette / Renard tension but they have ramped up the Nick / Juliette tension.

The keys seem to be out of the TV shows scope. Most of the keys are probably in Europe with the Royals. And the treasure is buried in Germany. I can't see Nick traipsing all over Europe. Well, Maybe his mom can do it.

Its interesting to see Renard sharing info with Nick.

I liked the episode, one of my favorites so far, but I didn't like that the fact that the wesen accidentally killed someone was never addressed

Yes. that was a weak point. I suppose a little meeting/conference/discussion took place. It might have been nice to see that but it might not have advanced the story any - and it's easy enough to imagine.

Nick: well I suppose I have to take you in
Joceyln: I can't go on without him.
Vincent: I didn't mean to kill him. it was an accident.
Rosalee: Nick, he's a new father - of an almost extinct species!
Monroe: C'mon Nick, we can frame that nasty skinner dude. Have a heart.

On a side note, I can't help but think this would have been a great story with Juliette in Rosalee's role as midwife. Maybe her first outing with Nick as a Grimm. I wonder if the writers not saving this for later might mean that Juliette won't be teaming up with Nick anytime soon.

One question, who/why did they call to find the hunter?

I found the episode good but not the best. Do anybody know what kind of wesen the hunter was?
But I have to say 2 things(maybe it´s stupid): First the blackwood is not in Bavaria, this wood is in Baden-Wurttemberg. Second the Schwaben are no bavarian they are from Baden-Wurttemberg...sorry but i really like the Schwaben Big Grin

I find Monroe answered Juliettes question very well. She knows know that Nick is not a normal guy. And possibly Juliettes not freaking out if Nick tells her the whole true.
And hopefully all the Maincharacters getting together and the and of this season. I think the talk between Nick & Renard was a step in the right way

Just a little googling and i discovered that the wesen hunter is a Raub-Kondor

I don't think we have seen any bird like wesens since season one's episode "The Thing With Feathers"
