Well, that would probably be a good bet on their part. Grimm's ratings have been gradually increasing. The show would have to take a heck of a nose dive to be cancelled after next year.

Naturally they aren't going to give actual story information away in advance to keep us surprised, and also, I'm sure, because the episodes aren't written too far ahead of the airing dates. But they seem to have a general plan about the timing of ending this part of the story.
Yes, I caught those references myself. If the show goes that far, it will be interesting to find out what happens after the royal families are defeated. (C'mon, you know our guys are going to win!) Without the royal's and werrat who will be the new bad guys? Does Renard become the head of a new royal family friendly to the wesen and grimms? Hmm?
